Since 2002, Bourn & Koch has been the source for Fellows gear shapers, both new and remanufactured. We acquired Fellows in 2002, moving all of their prints and documents to our facility in Rockford. Two of our most experienced engineers are originally from Fellows, giving us the ability to continue their legacy of quality, American-Made gear shaping equipment! Our new Fellows CNC Retrofit Package provides a high quality CNC gear shaper with features consistent with the increasingly cost-focused needs of the gear manufacturing market. The package features a Fanuc 35i CNC control with a PC front end and Fellows gear shaping software for ease of programming. Though less comprehensive than our CNC remanufactured machines, the machine has standard 4-axis CNC control over the gear shaping operation. We’ve also taken the time to provide an improved x-axis ball screw drive, adjustable table worm gear drive, adjustable worm box for B & C axis, and optional 1000 strokes per minute, all in a CNC Retrofit Package designed to lower your overall investment to CNC gear shaping.
Many of the same high-quality standard features from our CNC remanfactured Fellows gear shapers are included in our CNC retrofit package. Standard quick change cutter spindle and patented alignment flexures are included as part of the package.
