Many of Barber-Colman’s machines used hydraulic pumps and motors. Many of these items are now obsolete. Rather than scrap the machine, send the pump or motor in to Bourn & Koch for rebuild or repair. We will fully evaluate your pump or motor, provide an estimate and repair or rebuild the unit. Fast turn around times to keep your machine tools running.

Feed & Traverse Retrofits
Bourn & Koch can retrofit your Barber-Colman to electric feed and rapid traverse. We offer retrofit package to remove the hydraulic feed and rapid traverse on your Barber-Colman and replace it with electric drive. We can also retrofit your 16-16 or 16-36 with a DC drive motor package to replace the obsolete original DC drive and add variable speed capability to the machine.
