We were also in attendance for the Rockford Area Economic Development Council’s (RAEDC) annual dinner. Being more involved with the RAEDC is important to better understanding how we, at Bourn & Koch, can be proactive in developing our community and continuing the long-standing tradition of Rockford as a manufacturing community. A highlight of the evening was David Storch, of AAR Corp. speaking to the attendees about why they chose Rockford as the site of their newest, and one of their largest, aircraft MRO facilities. Additionally, Forest City Gear, who operates both a Bourn & Koch 400H and a Fellows MS450, were honored as a top manufacturer in the community.
