The Omnisprint series of Mollart deep hole drilling machines are a highly customizable three-axis, knee-type machine designed and engineered for providing precise and accurate drilled holes in a wide range of applications.
Omnisprints are a three-axis CNC deep hole drilling machine, available up to 6 spindles. The Omnisprint LD2-750 is configured to simultaneously drill two workpieces at a time, up to a 750mm length. Twin spindle Omnisprints are capable of drilling up to 16mm diameter. Single spindle Omnisprints are also available to allow for drilling of holes up to 22mm. Critical components of the Omnisprint series are machined at Bourn & Koch to ensure that the tolerances for alignment are met or exceeded, providing deep hole drilling with minimal deviation up to 750mm long.

The Omnisprint is a deep hole drilling machine designed for high volume production of automotive transmission shafts, medical components, and aerospace components. The three-axis capability allows for drilling of multiple off-center holes in one clamping, providing increased throughput. Omnisprints can be fitted with a rotating fixture to allow for blind holes to be drilled on both ends of a workpiece, further reducing setup time.
Each machine is built to your unique application, providing full customization of drill bushes, workholding, fixturing, and tooling to suit the requirements. The drilling spindles are driven by powerful Fanuc spindle motors through a belt-drive arrangement. A Fanuc 35i CNC control with a gun drilling human machine interface (HMI) is provided for easy programming. The Omnisprint is a great choice for Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs, and job shops alike to achieve minimal deviation with maximum productivity.
