In 2024, production of Mollart’s renowned deep hole drilling and gun drilling machines was moved to Rockford, IL from their Chessington, UK factory. Since then, we have continued the tradition of manufacturing world-class gun drilling and deep hole drilling machines in Rockford, Illinois. Mollart’s line of precision deep hole drilling machines are designed to provide a wide range of solutions to provide precise holes, drilled to tight tolerances for some of the most challenging applications in medical, automotive, biomass, and aerospace.
Mollart deep hole drilling machines are manufactured in three primary series. The Drillspint series provides single axis drilling with up to four drill spindles. Both static and counterrotation are available. The Omnisprint series of machines provides three-axis drilling with a positional X & Y axis to allow for drilling off center holes. Rotating fixtures can be added to allow for drilling both ends of the part. The Pellet Die series is a unique machine for precisely drilling thousands of holes in dies for pellet manufacturing machines that make everything from pellets for agricultural feed or for your pellet smoker.
Mollart’s machines are found in many complimentary industries to Bourn & Koch’s core product line. Both companies machines can be found at many customers, allowing us to provide more solutions to them for efficiently manufacturing their components to tight tolerances.
